Truffled Mac n’ Cheese (serves 2 to 3)

Our creamy truffle mayonnaise adds an extra oomph to the cheesy pull of this classic comfort food. We say it serves 2 to 3 people, but the truth is that after one bite, you may feel like you have to eat the entire bowl. Worth the carbo coma!

200g macaroni
60g Craft Truffles’ Truffle mayonnaise
180ml milk
60g mature cheddar, coarsely grated
60g mozzarella cheese, coarsely grated
A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg (optional)
30g finely grated parmesan
30g Japanese panko or breadcrumbs
A few sprigs of fresh parsley (optional)

RECIPE: Truffled Mac 'n Cheese


  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, till al dente.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine truffle mayo, milk, cheddar, mozzarella cheese and nutmeg. Check the consistency of the sauce - it should be a creamy, fluid sauce. Add more milk if necessary.
  4. Add drained macaroni to the cream sauce. Stir to fully coat the pasta in the sauce.
  5. Pour macaroni cheese mixture into a baking dish, and sprinkle over the panko breadcrumbs and parmesan.
  6. Bake for 25 - 35 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle parsley and serve immediately.
