Scrambled eggs with black truffle sea-salt and truffle slices (serves 2)

Try this recipe for a decadent breakfast in bed.

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 15 mins

4 eggs
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
black pepper, coarse grind
Craft Truffles’ black truffle sea salt
Craft Truffles’ black truffle slices
1 sprig of chives as garnish
4 slices of brioche, toasted

Scrambled eggs with black truffle sea-salt and truffle slices


1. Place a medium pan over low heat, add the butter and allow it to melt.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Pour the mixture into the pan and allow the eggs to cook slowly.
3. As soon as the eggs start to cook on the bottom, use a rubber spatula to scrape the bottom of the pan and fold the cooked eggs over the uncooked eggs.
4. Add the freshly ground black pepper to the eggs and remove the pan from heat before the eggs get fully cooked.
5. Top the dish with 2 teaspoon of truffle slices, sprinkle with fresh chives and black truffle sea salt. Serve immediately on toasted brioche.
