Baked Camembert with Truffle Honey (serves 2)

A simple to prepare appetizer that will make any cheese lover swoon.

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 15 mins

a small wheel of Camembert (preferably those packed in  wooden container to facilitate baking)
Craft Truffles’ Acacia honey with black truffle
salt and black pepper to taste
chilli flakes (optional)
a loaf of crusty bread (baguette or ciabatta) cut into slices

Baked Camembert with Truffle Honey (serves 2)


1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2. Unwrap the Camembert, remove the paper and place the cheese back into the wooden container.
3. Score a few lines across the top of the cheese and place it on a small tray for baking. You may slice off the top rind if preferred.
4. Bake in the oven for 15 mins until the cheese has melted.
5. Season with chilli flakes, salt and pepper and drizzle with Craft Truffles' Acacia honey with black truffle.
6. Serve immediately with toasted bread slices and more truffle honey if desired.
